The developer of the Consensus Organizing Model of community organizing is Michael P. Eichler. Professor Eichler founded the SDSU Consensus Organizing Center, taught in the SDSU School of Social Work, and authored the textbook "Consensus Organizing: Building Communities of Mutual Self-Interest."
